XY Manipulator (UHV)
ADC’s UHV XY manipulator is designed for the ultimate in sample positioning capability. The two stages each feature a high precision preloaded ballscrew and high resolution stepper motor driven stage. Preloaded crossed roller linear bearings give the best system rigidity and straightness of travel.
The chief advantage of this system is that it can be mounted in any orientation without an external support. Not only that, it can support the UHV Z manipulator in any orientation without an external support. This system was developed for use on a rotating vacuum chamber with sample position rigidty as the highest priority.
