High Precision Slits

Advanced Design Consulting USA, Inc. (ADC) has developed the most complete set of ultra high-precision slits from monochromatic to white beam. These ultra high-precision slits systems provide the capability to define the x-ray beam position and size in the micron regime, and reduce scattered light in the beamline. Using a unique process, blades are polished to a matte finish 2° angle. Blades can go “past closed” without clashing (Overlapping/Zero beam). All models use crossed-roller bearing technology for exceptional straightness of travel. All of these slits use standard micro stepped stepper motors that could be controlled with a wide array of controllers/drivers available on the market. Where heat load is an issue, ADC can conduct a detailed Finite Element Analysis (FEA) using ANSYS.
